- It’s 2 of servings leftover pilau.
- Take 2 of eggs.
- You need 1/2 cup of all purpose flour.
- Prepare 2 cups of maize meal.
- It’s 100 g of mozzarella cheese, grated.
- Take of Oil for deep frying.
Fried Pilau cheese balls instructions
- In a mixing bowl, mix the pilau, eggs and flour thoroughly.
- Scoop using a soup spoon and mould into balls.
- Pick one ball and press the using your thumb to make a hole. Fill the hole with a cheese piece and roll it back into a ball. Do this for the rest of the balls..
- Dust them with the maize meal and arrange in a tray. Chill for 10 - 15 minutes.
- Remove and deep fry them till they form a nice crispy/crunchy coating.
- Serve with your desired sauce and ENJOY YOUR CHRISTMAS.
