Ingredients of Kungpao Chicken with vegetables /Chinese recipe

  1. It’s of for marination.
  2. You need 1 kg of boneless chicken (strips).
  3. Prepare 2 tbsp of cornflour.
  4. It’s 1 of egg.
  5. Make ready 1 tspn of salt.
  6. It’s Half tspn of black pepper powder.
  7. Take of for gravy making.
  8. You need 2 tbsp of oil.
  9. Take 7-8 of button pepper.
  10. Prepare 2-3 tbspn of peanuts.
  11. You need 1 of onion in cubes.
  12. Take 1 of carrot in cubes.
  13. Prepare 2 of capsicum in cubes.
  14. It’s 3 tbspn of oyster sauce.
  15. Take 3 tbspn of soya sauce.
  16. Take 1 tspn of red chilli powder.
  17. It’s 1 tspn of crushed kashmiri red chilli.
  18. Prepare 1 tbspn of chopped garlic.
  19. Make ready 1 tbspn of chopped ginger.
  20. You need 2 tbsp of corn flour.

Kungpao Chicken with vegetables /Chinese recipe step by step

  1. First of all marinate the chicken for 10 minutes.
  2. In a bowl add chicken add egg, corn flour,salt, black pepper powder.
  3. Then in a wok deep fry the marinated chicken make it light golden colour and take it out.
  4. Then in separate wok add 2 tbsp of oil and fry red button peppers make it black in colour fry half minute then take it out.
  5. In the same oil roast the peanuts for half minute and take it out.
  6. Then in the same oil add crushed kashmiri red chilli and 1 tspn red chilli powder stir it.
  7. Then add chopped garlic and ginger stir it.
  8. Then add all the vegetables and mix it all together.
  9. Then add 2 to 3 cups of water.
  10. After one boil add 3 tbspn of oyster sauce and 3 tbspn of soya sauce mix it all together and cover the lid for 5 minutes in medium flame.
  11. Then in half cup of water and 2 tbsp of cornflour and pour the mixture into the gravy.
  12. Then again cover it and simmer for 5 minutes.
  13. Now at the time of serving garnish with fried peanuts and serve with egg fried rice.
