- Add 1 tbsp oil in a pan and add onion and saute it for 2 mins and add tomatoes and cover the pan for two minutes or till tomatoes are soft. Off the flame and let it cool..
- Dip the potatoes in hot turmeric water for five to ten minutes and let them dry in a cloth or paper napkeen..
- Now deep fry the potato slices till golden brown and keep aside..
- Now blend the paste nicely and stain it to get smooth puree..
- Add one tbsp Oil in another pan and add green chilli and crushed mustard powder and add onion & tomato puree and all other spices except coconut powder..
- Boil it for 5 mins at low flame and add fried potato slices/widgets and boil for another 4 minutes to make the gravy consistency thick(upto desired thickness)..
- Serve in a plate/bowl & garnish with coconut powder..
