Chicken hariyali masala instructions

  1. For Marination,add turmeric,salt and lemon juice to chicken and keep aside for 30 min.
  2. For Green paste, mix all ingredient and coarse grind,add water to make it smooth paste.
  3. Add yoghurt and green paste to chicken and keep aside for 60 min.
  4. In a pan add 6 tbsp oil and add 5 cloves, 3 cinnamon and 6 cardamom,.
  5. Place chicken pieces(withouth marinade mix and fry for 2-3 min(do not stir).
  6. Flip chicken pieces and fry for another 2-3 min.
  7. Fry till oil separates,pour remaining marinade mix and fry for 3-4 min on medium heat,cook for another 5 min on low heat.
  8. Add 2 tbsp(1.5 medium size) crushed fried onions and 1 tbsp garam masala, cook for 2 min on medium heat.
  9. Add 300 water and cover cook for 15 min on low heat.
  10. Garnish with fried onion and serve.
