Ingredients of Upma Breakfast
- You need 1 cup of roasted semolina/Sooji/Rava.
- It’s 1 of medium sized onion finely chopped.
- Make ready 1 of medium sized tomato finely chopped.
- Take 2 tbsp of oil.
- Make ready 2 of green chillies chopped.
- You need 1 tbsp of peanuts.
- Take 1 tsp of urad dal.
- It’s 1 tsp of chana dal.
- Make ready 1 of medium size lemon.
- Take 7-8 of curry leaves.
- Make ready Handful of coriander leaves.
- Take As per taste of Salt.
- Prepare 1/2 tsp of red chilli powder.
- Make ready Pinch of turmeric/haldi.
- Make ready 4 cups of water.
Upma Breakfast instructions
- Take all the ingredients first..
- Now put a wok on fire by adding oil in it and firstly roast semolina until it becomes pink in color, take it out and then fry one by one some peanuts,then urad dal and chana dal together..
- After this add curry leaves, onion, tomato, green chillies in it.stir well and roast until onion become translucent..
- Now add all masala' s with peanuts together and give a quick stir..
- After that add 4 cups water in it and give a nice boil..
- Now add roasted semolina slowly and stir continuously.it become thick..
- After turn off the flame add lemon juice it give a nice flavour to your dish..
- Better to serve hot..
