Ingredients of Kalonji Paneer
- Take 400 gms of Paneer cut into med sized rectangular.
- Take 3 tbsp of mustard oil.
- You need 1/4 tsp of kalonji seeds.
- It’s 1 tsp of garlic paste.
- Make ready 1/2 tsp of ginger paste.
- You need 1 tbsp of onion paste.
- Take 1 tsp of red chilli powder.
- You need 1 tbsp of dhaniya powder.
- Take 1 tbsp of dahi.
- You need 1 tsp of fresh cream.
- Prepare 1 tbsp of kaju paste.
- Prepare As per taste of Salt.
- Make ready 1 tsp of butter or desi ghee,.
- It’s 3 of green chilli cut lengthwise.
- Take 1/2 tsp of garam masala powder.

Kalonji Paneer step by step
- Firstly soak paneer in warm water with lil salt, keep aside..
- Take oil in a wok, heat it..
- Add kalonji seeds, let it splutter..
- Now add ginger garlic paste, add lil water, stir fry it for a while..
- Add onion paste, also add little water, stir fry it for a while..
- Lower the flame now, cover it with the lid, cook it until brown. Stir in between..
- Now add red chilli powder & dhania powder, add lil water also. Cook it at moderate flame till oil separates. Add salt also..
- Mix dahi & cream, add it to the masala, stir it for a while..
- Now add kaju paste, give a stir..
- Lower the flame now, cover it with the lid, cook it till oil separates..
- Now add garam masala powder, give a stir..
- Increase the flame now, add paneer pcs, stir fry it very gently. Add green chilli, give a stir..
- Add 1/2 cup boiled water so as to keep the dish a lil dry..
- Lower the flame now, cover it with the lid, cook it for 10-15 minutes or till gravy becomes thick..
- Turn off the flame now, open the lid after a while..
- Take out in a serving bowl, garnish it with chopped dhania patta..
- Have it with Nan..
