Imarti instructions

  1. Soak 1 cup Urad dal for 3 to 4 hours..
  2. Grind it with little water to make smooth paste..
  3. The batter should not become too thin…add 2 3 drops of orange color, 2 tbps corn starch and stir the batter for 2 min till it becomes fluffy..
  4. Make a cone using Ziploc bag or use a small hole plastic bottle..
  5. Deep fry the imartis from both the sides..
  6. Make a one string consistency sugar syrup. (1 cup sugar + 1/2 cup waater).
  7. Dip the imartis in syrup for 2 min..
  8. Make sure syrup is warm. Take out from syrup and serve..
