  1. It’s 2 blocks of firm tofu cut into long slices.
  2. Prepare 2 cups of chopped mushrooms.
  3. It’s 4 of garlic chopped.
  4. Take 1 cup of marsala cooking wine.
  5. Take 2 tbsp of chopped shallots.
  6. Take 1 tbsp of thyme.
  7. It’s 2 Tbsp of corn flour plus more for dusting.
  8. You need of pepper.
  9. Take of salt.
  10. Take of olive oil or any cooking oil.
  11. It’s 1 Tbsp of all purpose flour.
  12. Make ready 1 tbsp of tomato paste (optional).

Tofu mushroom marsala instructions

  1. Coat the tofu slices with corn flour, salt and pepper. Fry them in a pan with oil for 5 mins . Remove and keep a side.
  2. In the same pan, add oil and fry mushrooms, garlic , shallots, thyme for 3 to 4 mins.
  3. Add vegetable/chicken stock, and cook for few mins.
  4. Add the marsala wine and simmer for 5 mins. Add 1tbsp tomato paste optional. Check for taste and add salt accordingly.
  5. Add 2 tbsp corn flour and 1 tbsp all purpose flour in some water and add to the pan and mix well till thickens.
  6. U can add fried tofu slices to the pan or arrange tofu on plate and pour the gravy over it. Bon appetite!!!.
