Hello everybody, welcome to our recipe page. Today I will show you a way to prepare a special dish, Rava Dosa. It is one of my favourite food recipe, this time i’am gonna make it a little bit tasty. This will be smell and look delicious.

Rava Dosa Recipe. Rava dosa is a popular variety of South Indian dosa which are crisp, netted and thin. They are very easy to make and need no grinding or fermentation.

You can cook Rava Dosa using 9 ingredients and 4 steps. Here is how you achieve it.

Ingredients of Rava Dosa

  1. Take 1 cup of Semolina or Suji.
  2. Prepare 1 cup of raw Rice.
  3. Take 2 tbsp of Gram Flour or Besan.
  4. Prepare 1 tsp of Salt.
  5. You need 1 tbsp of Cumin Seeds.
  6. Take 3-4 of Green Chillies finely chopped.
  7. It’s 1 of small bunch Coriander Leaves finely chopped.
  8. Prepare 1 of Onion finely chopped.
  9. Take 1 tbsp of Ginger grated.

Hence it's also known as crispy rava dosa and instant rava dosa.A Dosai/Dose is a rice pancake, originating from South India, made from a fermented batter predominantly consisting of lentils and rice.This instant version is super yummy and gives you perfect dosa everytime.Enjoy with coconut chutney or sambar.

Rava Dosa instructions

  1. Mix all the ingredients to form a pouring consistency batter. Soak raw Rice for an hour and grind to a smooth paste. Add this to the batter along with the other ingredients..
  2. It should be a very thin batter just like that of Buttermilk. Keep this undisturbed for 15 minutes atleast and after that start making the Dosas..
  3. Remember that you don't have to spread it like the normal Dosa. Instead you have to just pour the batter starting from the corners to the middle. Infact with this recipe of mine, you can easily manage to do. Just as I have done. Raw Rice is the secret behind my way of making these yummy Rava Dosas..
  4. Add Oil from the corners and some in the centre. But before you pour the batter, rub this hot griddle or tawa with an Onion that's cut in two halves for the easy removal of the Dosas. Wait until it turns crisp from the lower side. Make all of them in the similar manner. Serve with any pickle. You actually don't need anything to go with this. It is too good on it's own..
