Carrot and Beetroot Rava Dosa Recipe. CARROT-BEETROOT - Parota and Dosa are easy to prepare and good for all age group persons. Rava dosa made by soaking rava (Semolina), rice flour and maida.

Ingredients of Carrot and Beetroot Rava Dosa

  1. It’s 1/2 cup of Rava.
  2. It’s 1/4 cup of grated Carrot.
  3. Make ready 1/4 cup of grated Beetroot.
  4. Make ready 1/2 tsp of Red chilli powder.
  5. Make ready to taste of Salt.
  6. Prepare 1 tbsp of Ghee.

It is a perfect breakfast that can be prepared and served instantly with any chutney.There are many variations in preparing rava dosa.You could add grated carrot and coconut to the batter along with rest of ingredients, Or add some sliced onions.Rava dosa is a very popular South Indian Breakfast which is very easy to prepare.

Carrot and Beetroot Rava Dosa step by step

  1. Mix all ingredients together except ghee..
  2. Whisk and make a semi thin batter..
  3. Heat a nonstick dosa tava and pour a ladle full batter on it..
  4. Spread evenly the batter and put ghee on side of dosa..
  5. Cook from both side till it crisps..
  6. Serve hot with chutney..

You can make it Rava masala dosa by placing potato mixture(the way we prepare for masala dosa) and fold it and serve with coconut chutney.You can add finely chopped dry fruits like cashews,raisins and badam to the batter and make Dry fruit rava dosa which tastes very nice where you get to taste.Rava dosa is a very tasty and crispy semolina pan cakes.
