Make ready 1 litre of Milk.
Take half packet of Vermicilli (sevai) -.
You need 6 tsps of Sugar -.
You need 3 tsps of Ghee -.
You need no of Dry fruits cashewnuts (almonds,pistachios, dry dates).
This is an easy recipe and there are different variations of making sheer kurma.In this variation, I have roasted the vermicelli first and then added it to milk.Vermicelli: To make sheer khurma fine vermicelli or thin seviyan is used.There are pre-roasted and unroasted vermicelli available in the market.
How to Make Sheer Khurma step by step
Boil milk, and lower the flame when it comes to boil. Add in sugar and keep stirring..
In another vessel, heat ghee. Add vermicelli and roast till golden brown. Keep stirring it continuously..
As the vermicelli gets its color, immediately pour it into the milk and keep stirring it..
Boil the milk till the vermicelli gets soft. Now add the dry fruits(soaked overnight and peeled, sliced and diced), stir and close the flame..
Serve hot..
