- You need 1.5 litre of full fat milk.
- You need 1/2 cup of roasted vermicilli.
- You need 1/2 cup of sugar.
- Prepare 20 of almonds soaked overnight peeled and sliced.
- It’s 20 of pistachio nuts soaked overnight peeled and sliced.
- You need 20 of cashews chopped.
- It’s 4-5 of dry dates (kharik) soaked overnight deseeded and sliced.
- Prepare 10-12 of raisins.
- You need 1/4 tsp of cardomon powder.
- Take 1 pinch of saffron soaked in lukewarm milk.
- You need 1-2 drops of kewra essence (optional).
- You need 1/3rd cup of desi ghee.
Eid Special Sheer Khurma Recipe step by step
- Boil 1 and half litres full fat milk once it starts boiling simmer gas and let it simmer away few minutes.
- Meanwhile add ghee in another pan add all the mentioned nuts dates and raisins in it and fry for just a minute till light golden.
- Once light golden remove all the nuts on a plate and to the same ghee add vermicilli and roast for 1 or 2 minutes on low flame.
- Once they are little roasted remove from heat and set aside.
- Add the roasted seviyan and the nuts raisins and dates into the simmering milk and mix well add sugar saffron milk.
- Continue boiling on low flame till milk thicken little and changes colour.
- Eid special sheer khurma is ready serve warm or chilled.
