Green thai rice Recipe. This Thai Green Rice recipe is an original Thai recipe I created for a charity cooking class many years ago. This, thankfully, is a Thai recipe that doesn't require all the speciality ingredients that are sometimes so elusive.

  1. Make ready 100 gm of rice.
  2. It’s 100 gm of spinach.
  3. Make ready 35 pieces of mint leaves.
  4. Take 100 gm of Coriander.
  5. Make ready 1 of green chilli.
  6. You need 1 cup of coconut milk.
  7. Prepare of Salt as per taste.
  8. You need as needed of Oil.
  9. You need 1 tsp of cumin seeds.

While the "normal" thing to do is to have Thai Red Curry or Green Curry with plain steamed jasmine rice, I just can't resist ordering fried rice instead.It's called Gang Kiew Wan in Thai language, one of the best Thai recipes.The curry is green in color, spicy, aromatic, sweet and savory at the same time.Thai green curry is so delicious, specially when served with steaming white jasmine rice.

  2. Now take spinach,mint leaves and Coriander.add some water in it and cook for 5 min..
  3. Then add chilli into it. Now crush it in mixture.make a paste..
  4. Now take a pan add some oil and cumin seeds in it.and add this green paste in it and add coconut milk in it.mix it well. Now add rice in to it..
  5. Green thai rice is ready..

You can substitute chicken or tofu for the pork, but make sure to serve it with hot jasmine rice.I'm pretty sure every Asian country has their version of Fried Rice, and this is how the Thais make it!This is a regular when I go out for Thai.
