Ingredients of Sweet Vermicilli | Meethi Seviyaan
- Take 200 grams of roasted vermicilli.
- You need 200 grams of sugar.
- You need 350 ml of full fat milk.
- Take 3/4 cup of mixed nuts (almond pistachonuts raisins cashews).
- Take 1/4 tsp of cardomon powder.
- It’s 1 pinch of saffron strands soaked in lukewarm milk.
- You need 1 drop of kewra essence.
- Make ready 1/3 cup of desi pure ghee.
Sweet Vermicilli | Meethi Seviyaan step by step
- Heat ghee in a pan fry nuts for just a minute till very light golden then drain with spoon remove on a plate.
- In same ghee fry vermicilli for 2 minutes on low medium flame till golden..
- Once golden lower flame add milk little by little keep mixing till all milk is absorbed into the seviyaan..
- Then saffron milk soaked earlier mix well add sugar cardomon powder keep mixing till sugar dissolves completely..
- Cover lid and simmer 5 minutes open and mix once in between after 5 minutes check the seviyaan if it is too dry sprinkle little milk or water and simmer 2 minutes again..
- Then add fried nuts mix well add a drop of kewra essence mix well seviyaan is ready to serve….happy eid to all stay blessed.
