Ingredients of Shahi Paneer
- Take 3/4 cup of low-fat paneer Cubes.
- It’s 1/2 cup of boiled green peas.
- Make ready 3/4 cup of onion paste.
- It’s 1 tbsp of cashewnut (kaju) paste.
- Prepare 1/2 tsp of garlic Paste.
- You need as needed of Water.
- Take 1/2 teaspoon of turmeric powder.
- Prepare 1/2 tsp of dried fenugreek leaves (kasuri methi).
- Make ready 1/2 cup of Low fat milk.
- You need 1.5 teaspoon of green chilli paste.
- Take 1/2 teaspoon of garam masala powder.
- Take to taste of Salt.
- Take Handfull of finely chopped coriander leaves.
Shahi Paneer instructions
- Heat a non-stick pan/ kadhai on a high flame.
- Add the onion paste and cook on a slow flame for 3 to 4 minutes or till the onions light brown in colour, while stirring continuously..
- Add the cashewnut paste, garlic paste and dried fenugreek leaves.
- Mix well and cook on a medium flame for 1 more minute..
- Sprinkle 1 tbsp of water to avoid the onions from burning..
- Add the low-fat milk, ½ cup of water, green chilli paste, turmeric garam masala and salt.
- Mix well and cook on a medium flame for 1 to 2 minutes, while stirring occasionally..
- Add the paneer and green peas, mix gently and cook on a medium flame for 4-5 minutes covered.
- Garnish with coriander and serve hot with whole wheat chapatis,rice,etc.
