Ingredients of Sardine Bread

  1. Take 5 Cups of All Purpose Flour (or Bread Flour).
  2. It’s 3 tsp of bread yeast.
  3. You need 1 cup of sugar.
  4. You need 1 tsp of salt.
  5. Prepare 1 cup of sardine oil.
  6. It’s 250 ml of warm milk.
  7. Prepare 2 of eggs.
  8. Prepare 2 tins of sardine.
  9. Prepare 10 tbsp of lukewarm water.

Sardine Bread step by step

  1. Sift your flour into a clean bowl, add in your salt and mix together…
  2. Get another clean bowl, add in your water, 1 tsp sugar, yeast and milk, mix together…
  3. Now transfer the flour mix (dry ingredients) into the yeast mix (wet ingredients) add in the remaining sugar, sardine oil and mix it all together…
  4. Transfer your dough to a clean large surface and knead properly…
  5. Once dough is formed, rub some oil in a clean bowl, make sure the oil touches round the dough, cover with a tight lid and proof for 1hr…
  6. After 1hr deflate your dough, knead properly again, place a parchment paper in your baking pan, roll out your dough…
  7. Place your sardine one at a time inside the dough and roll it up together…
  8. Place your dough inside the baking pan and proof again for 20 minutes…
  9. Bake @ 350F for 45 minutes…
  10. Your sardine bread is ready…
