Ingredients of Keema Khichdi

  1. It’s 250 gm of Keema.
  2. Prepare 1 cup of rice.
  3. You need 1 cup of roasted Moong dal.
  4. It’s 1 of onion finely chopped.
  5. You need 1 of finely chopped green chilli.
  6. Take 1 tsp of chopped ginger.
  7. It’s 1 tsp of chopped garlic.
  8. Take 1 of tomato finely chopped.
  9. Prepare 1 tsp of turmeric powder.
  10. Prepare 1/2 tsp of red chilli powder.
  11. Prepare 1/2 tsp of garam masala powder.
  12. You need 1 stick of cinnamon stick.
  13. You need 3 of green cardamom seeds.
  14. It’s 1/2 tsp of cumin powder.
  15. Take 1 tsp of coriander powder.
  16. Prepare 1 tsp of whole cumin seeds.
  17. It’s 2 of bay leaves.
  18. It’s to taste of Salt.
  19. It’s 1/4 tsp of sugar.
  20. Prepare 3 tsp of oil.
  21. You need 2 tsp of ghee.

Keema Khichdi step by step

  1. Heat a kadhai add oil then add cumin seeds,bay leaves,whole garam masala,then add finely chopped onions saute for few minutes,,.
  2. Then add finely chopped ginger and garlic saute for few minutes then add mutton keema and other dry spices cook it in a low medium flame for about 15 minutes then add.
  3. Finely chopped tomatoes cook it for few minutes then add washed rice and dal mix it then add water,salt and sugar cover it cook it for 20 minutes in a low medium flame or till it’s done.. serve hot with a tsp of ghee.,.
