- You need 500 g of pasta.
- You need 500 g of mince beef.
- Prepare 500 ml of passata.

- You need 2 of onions chopped.
- Take 1 tsp of garlic.
- Take 1 cup of whole milk.
- You need 2 cups of whipping cream.
- Take 3 tbsp of flour.
- You need 60 g of butter.

- Prepare of Nutmeg spice.
- You need of Grated cheese.
Egyptian Macaroni and Cheese step by step
- Boil pasta till it cooks.
- Fry onions and garlic then add mince beef and fry till it cooks.
- Add salt, pepper, and mixed herbs spice and mix. Then add passata sauce.
- Make the bechamel sauce: melt the butter then add flour and mix. When it changes colour add milk and mix and then the cream. Stir continuously till mixture thickens. Finally add salt, pepper, turmeric and nutmeg..
- In a Pyrex bowl or oven proof bowl add first the cooked pasta. Then the beef layer. Then the bechamel sauce. Sprinkle the grated cheese on top.
- Bake in the oven at 200 deg C for 30 minutes or till it browns.
